Speed camera warnings

Hi,
I’m a newbie to Waze. Could not find a related post or anything on the Waze site.

I don’t appear to get audible warnings when approaching speed cameras (fixed or other). Is this correct, or does it only warn if you are over the limit for the camera, etc, etc?

Thanks, but that seems to just be a list of cameras. Does Waze give an audible alert as you approach a camera, or does it just show on the map so you have to watch the map for them?

Under the headline “Camera Speed” towards the bottom of the page it says

Edited the wiki for clarity. Speed cams always show a pop-up but only give an audible when exceeding.

Great - questions answered. Must have more patience when reading these things. Boys just like to play with their toys, not read the instructions!!

That’s why they added pictures. :lol:

There should be a way to turn on audible alerts to every hazard (traps, cops, traffic…). I don’t get any audible alerts at all. I like the app, but it’s pretty useless if you have to keep looking at the screen to check if there’s a hazard ahead.
