Hello, I do not have the permission to add a road closure yet, but my company has started road construction on a road in Squamish and will last the next year or so. I want to be able to close one of the directions of traffic in the map so that it helps people realize the road is now one way and reduce confusion. Please let me know if someone can help and I can provide the information needed.

We can certainly add a long-term closure to any affected roads.
Can you provide a permalink from the editor?
And the details to the closure? (often these are found on the municipal site, but if you’re the contractor you probably have the details already

Details of the closure
Direction Closed: NB & WB from Node B at the Middle School and will send at the alignment Node near 41981 Ross Rd. (There will be one way traffic allowed in the direction from Government Rd to Depot Rd in between the Middle School and the 1st house on Ross Rd)
Closure starts: November 5, 2025 and currently planned to end Jan 10, 2026 and will then be modified.
Closure Time: 24/7
Reason: Ross Rd Upgrades
Speed: Reduced to 30km/h in this zone

Thanks, for the detailed reply. I’ve added a road closure. Currently the entire segment is closed, but we’ll split the segment so the closure only covers east of 4198 Ross Rd, it will just take a couple days for that process to occur as we need to await tile builds.
Please let us know if there are any changes as the projecr progresses.

I just wanted to give you an update on the Ross Rd Closure. Starting Monday Feb 2, we will extend the current closure from where it is south to the intersection of Arrowhead Rd. This will allow people to still access Arrowhead from Depot Rd rather than driving around. The closure will be extended to Depot Rd in a few weeks, but I will confirm with you. Are you able to extend the closure to Arrowhead Rd next week?

I also realize that the old closure of Ross Rd that we had is no longer active on the map. So it looks like the road is wide open now. Would you be able to fix this? Thanks!

To summarize, the westbound/northbound lane of Ross Rd is currently closed from Arrowhead Dr to the Don Ross Middle School bus loop. Only traffic is allowed in the Eastbound/Southbound direction.
Could you please make these updates? I also noticed the previous closure is no longer visible on the map.

Thanks for the update. I’ve added the NB closure between the school and Arrowhead for the month of February 2026 - it will be reflected in the app shortly. I’ve also added a traffic event which should also help alert users of the closure.
