Please can I request a temporary road closure for the following:

Physical temporary road closure in the village for Bonfire and Fireworks event. The road will be closed in both directions.

Cuckfield - B2036, B2036 South St, B2036 High St

I don’t have permission to create this as an event or Major Traffic Event (MTE) .

Please note that severe congestion is expected throughout the village on the night.
There will be a police road closure of the B2036 in effect from the Cuckfield Park A272 roundabout to the Lloyds chemist mini roundabout in South Street / High Street between 17:00 – 21:00.

Once the road closes at 17:00, vehicle access is limited only to the bonfire site via the A272.

Could a Waze admin please create this road closure? We want to keep the pedestrians and our volunteer marshals as safe as possible at the event.
