Reason:
Physical temporary road closure in the village for Bonfire and Fireworks event. The road will be closed in both directions

Cuckfield Fireworks Event
Start time 17:00 Sat 5th Nov 2022
End time 21:00 Sat 5th Nov 2022

Cuckfield - B2036, B2036 South St, B2036 High St

I don’t have permission to create this as an event or Major Traffic Event (MTE) .

http://www.cuckfieldbonfire.co.uk/location/

Please note that severe congestion is expected throughout the village on the night.
There will be a police road closure of the B2036 in effect from the Cuckfield Park A272 roundabout to the Lloyds chemist mini roundabout in South Street / High Street between 1700 – 2100.

Once road closes at 5pm, vehicle access is limited only to the bonfire site via the A272

Please could a waze admin create this road closure. We want to keep the pedestrians at the event and our volunteer marshals as safe as possible.

Thank you in advance, Fraser
