I was back in my second home at Christmas and noticed a few streets named Rd. and St. which leads to
Waze voicing them incorrectly. At the time I fixed what I could find, but I have no doubt there are more.
Here is one just outside where I can edit.

Yes, the period “.” is the problem.
“St.” come out as Saint, but isn’t in the Wiki.
Would be good for “St. Andrews St”, but looks confusing.
Balwag, it isn’t in the Wiki as we probably haven’t encountered this problem before.
So I suppose we need to decide as a community what we want to have “Saint” or “St.”
What do you recon? and the general consensus will be written in to the Wiki.

Can’t remember where on the forums I read it (might have been the UK forums) but the text to speech got changed a while ago in regards to street and saint.
St will make the TTS say Street.
St. will make the TTS say Saint.
So using the abbreviated version of saint would be much preferred I believe.

I think this would be the preferred option as well.
Except in the case of a road actually being called “Saint”, such as the one we have over here called “Saint Pass”. All the other roads and signs I have seen have used the abbreviated format.
