For your information, an update has been introduced regarding lane guidance when there is a public transport lane. See sections 10, 11 here and also here.
Hi, thanks.
In my opinion, it would be right to always add, in addition to a permalink reference like โan example can be seen hereโ,
also screenshots that illustrate the points,
so that one can read the explanation and see the example at the same time, which makes it much easier to understand.
Additionally, it is not always possible to know what will happen on the ground in the future โ for instance, the roundabout might be completely paved over (in the entry I mentioned below) or other changes might occur โ and therefore there is a chance the linked example will become obsolete.
Screenshots will ensure the illustration remains available and clear over time.
Iโve come across at least two such cases:
On the page โHow to edit a roundabout that is not a complete circle?โ, where it is really missing and could change,
and also in the first paragraph of โMapping a bus lane when using distant lanesโ (โFor example here the editing should be done like thisโ)
Thanks for the comment. Images have been added for the cases you mentioned (although specifically in the case of the partial roundabout, the chance of it changing in the future is very low because a lot of money was recently invested to bring it to its current state).
