Traffic Light cannot be snapped to end of segment when virtual node is too close

Is this a…:
Standard bug
Steps to reproduce this issue:

  1. Connect walking trail/footpath near to end of a segment (before where it would visually snap the traffic light)
  2. Traffic light cannot be snapped to segment

There is a workaround, which is adding the traffic lights to the node instead and deleting the extra hazard it adds.

Hi @tbrks,

Thank you for your report.
I have been able to reproduce this issue to an extent, whereby I can add a TL to the segment, however it sometimes gets “trapped” between the nodes.
Could you please confirm if this is what you are unable to do on your end:

?

Take care and regards,
Olesya

Yeah it does seem to be possible to snap it from the left side when I come at it from the same angle as you did in your screenshot. It just felt a bit unnatural but I suppose it’s not as bad as I originally thought. I’ll leave it to you to decide if it’s a big enough problem to continue following up on. Thanks for checking

Thank you for your response @tbrks. It is a bit tricky indeed. I’ve asked the team to check this on their end as well and will let you know once I hear back.
