For places you can just submit a change and it will generate a place update request and then it will be moderated by an experienced editor.
Even if the place is unlocked unless you have already done several places and been approved the place update request will be generated.
I am not sure exactly what you are trying to modify since this is already a parking lot area and you are saying that you are correcting parking creation. There is already a Inwood Kiking Trails - Parking location in Waze.

Yeah I created because it was not there, I don’t know why it was not appearing for me on the map when I was trying to find a parking close. But searching by the name I’ve been able to find it.

I am not sure which map you are referring to:
If in the app, please route to the location and you should be able to see it. It often takes routing to an area to update the tiles that are displayed.
If in Waze Map Editor then please make sure that you have the parking lot areas turned on. Upper right corner is the layers icon (two sheets of paper), then ensure Places and Parking lots both have their toggle switches so that you see the blue on indication.
You can mark this as closed per step 4 above by clicking on the checkmark next to the topic title.
