I’m trying to add a business but keep getting permission errors in the Waze Map Editor.
Business details:
Name: Roxi & Co
Category: Pet Store
Address: 501 E 41st St, Sioux Falls, SD 57105
Google Maps Link: Google Search
This is a retail pet store offering pet food, supplies, and services. I’ve confirmed there is no existing listing under this name.
Could someone help add this place or advise on what I might be missing?

2 thoughts. First, have you driven past this place with Waze open in the last 90 days? If so, are you trying to add the Google link? Supposedly, they changed it so that all levels can add the link, so there might be a bug.

Thanks for the response! I haven’t tried that yet. I tried adding it in the Waze Editor and it wouldn’t let me save it. I’ll give it a shot with the Waze app open and navigate there and see if that helps. If there is a bug issue, do you have any suggestions for addressing that? Waze support helpful in those cases?
Apologies, I didn’t make myself clear. In order to edit a particular area of the map, new editors must have what we call “driven editable area.” In order to ensure that the map is as accurate as possible, Waze requires you to have visited the area you’re trying to edit within the last 90 days.
So, if you haven’t, the editor won’t let you save.
