Unable to apply Map Suggestion after splitting segment

Standard bug
Steps to reproduce this issue:

  1. Split a segment with a pending Map Suggestion (in this case the MP was disallowing a turn into the segment)
  2. Review the map suggestion - notice that “Higher level access required. Contact your Area Manager” is announced next to the grey accept button.

I can add the scripts later if necessary. I think this issue can be caused by the editing, not any scripts.

This is not really a bug. Since the segment ID has changed, there is nothing for the MS to fix.

I agree that it is not a bug in a way. But the user interface could handle MS like it handles closures and lock the affected segments for certain operations. Now I have a problem, because what editor level is necessary to resolve this? L5 is not enough.

L6 can’t help either. I believe that only staff (if they can even do it) are the only ones.

If I recall, it was determined that this is WAD.

Coordinators do have a sheet we can add these to for staff to deal with. Here is a suggestion for correcting this issue. Please add your vote to it.

The original editor to submit the map suggestion can usually remove them as well.

Hello all,

Thank you for your input. We have an in internal ticket open to address the incorrect wording in the tool tip. We are also looking into the issue whereby these suggestions cannot be actioned.
I will let you know when there is an update.

Steps to reproduce this issue:
A user submitted Map Suggestion on a L2 segment is not allowing a L3 editor or myself as a L5 editor to action it
The action buttons are greyed out, the alert text is indicating we need to refer to the AM, and the tool tip is indicating the suggestion needs approval from a L6 editor.

This is most likely because you cut the segment on 6/1 before processing the suggestion.
