Is this a…:
Standard bug Steps to reproduce this issue:
When we try to approve a new segment created by a level 1 user that connects one segment to another that they themselves created, WME prevents approval. The message displayed is:
“A higher editing level is required. Contact the local community for assistance.”
Thank you for flagging this issue!
I have filed an internal ticket to investigate it and will keep you posted on further updates.
In the meantime, if you see any other suggestions displaying this message, please let me know.
Just a quick follow-up question: is this suggestion returned after you apply the “Managed area” filter?
There seems to be an issue with permissions not being applied correctly and we’re trying to find out why.
May I just ask you to provide the username of the level 6 editor, for whom you said it also failed?
We found that the issue with this suggestion is that it suggests a new city (empty - '") and therefore level 6 would be required.
Thank you for your response @sulstore. We’ll be looking into this further.
This information would normally be displayed after you click “Apply”.
But of course this is not possible if you cannot apply the suggested changes.
I will keep you posted as our investigation progresses.
I just checked again IdomarCerutti’s account and it seems he’s not an AM in that area.
I’ll check who might be able to approve this suggestion among the managers in charge of this specific area.
Meanwhile, we’re (hopefully) getting closer to the root cause,
Thank you for the clarification. Can we try to accept this suggestion on our end? This is just to gather more information from the console, which will available after we get the error.
