When modifying the name of a segment, I was unable to save. The error message:
Modifying GuidanceMode is valid only for CS Lanes.

There is a LG on the segment preceding the segment I wanted to modify.

Tried to change the Exit sign from right to left exit, even just removing the right exit generates that error.

Hi Fkzy,

I want to update that the team works on the solution of the problem. In the meantime they offered the following workaround.

In Belgium:

you can change the segment name/address and also apply any change on Segment 402071480:

Then, you can revert the unneeded change of Segment 402071480 in a different Save.

Let me know if this work around helps.

Hi Jangliss,

As I have mentioned the team is working on resolving the issue. In the meantime they suggest to make further adjustments:

  • You need to change the Exit sign as they want, and also change the guidance mode of Segment 75999970 LG to “Waze Default” in the same Save.

  • Then, in a different save, you can edit the lanes and change the guidance mode back to View only, together with applying any change on Segment 84206704.

  • Then, you can revert the unneeded change of Segment 84206704 in a different Save.

Let me know if these instructions helped as a workaround.

@Nataliia_Staff The workaround was not effective: I got the same error message when attempting to apply the suggested changes simultaneously on the two segments.

The team rechecked and asked to the following workaround, it should work:

  • Change the required segment name/address, and also modify the guidance mode of the lane from Segment 416975948 to Segment 402071480 in the same Save (change the guidance mode to Waze Default).
  • Then, in a different save, change the guidance mode back to View and Hear.

In the case the workaround doesn’t work, can you please share the exact steps they made, i.e. what is the exact change in the segment address? This will help us understand better why the workaround doesn’t work.

I tried to change from mH to MH and got the same error. I checked and tried again but still got the save error. I didn’t find anything about “GuidanceMode” nor “CS Lanes” in the Wazeo.
