Over the last week, guessing from the google announcement, I’ve been finding a lot of URs around Northern Ireland that appear to have absolutely no rhyme nor reason to them. take this one as an example. It show’s the user’s drive but no waze route, I’ve checked all the nodes, landmarks etc. My only guess is the football ground isn’t there or some farm lane is missing… any thoughts?
funnily enough I have just been looking at the WME again and the few puzzlers have magically disappeared… checked with the highlights script and only the bits I had changed are highlighted for the last day, guess someone must be playing silly buggers. I noticed the conversation bit in the Beta but didn’t think it worked that way, will give it a go the next time I get one!
I might have to have a look at the beta editor. Haven’t done so for a while.
It’d be nice if we could level lock URs open to stay active. Quick question, does this just an email like cartouche did or its it all in the editor, and can other editors see that convo?
Communication is direct to/from the Inbox on the user’s client app, just like when someone closes your UR.
However, you won’t get any notification if you reply to your own UR.
All [beta] editors can see the conversation, though some names are obscured to protect privacy [yawn]
There’s no “notification” yet, but the originator and all editors (beta for now only) can see the full conversation. The originator can see the whole conversation using the latest message in their Inbox. The Inbox message is HTML, so there’s an embedded form to reply from. There’s a lot of discussion in the beta editor forum on this feature.
