Waze Beacons Program Overview - All You Need to Know
The Waze Beacons Program is the world’s first scalable, affordable solution to enable navigation in tunnels. The program is designed to improve traffic flow in and out of tunnels, resulting in better mobility, increased driver awareness, and improved safety for everyone. Since GPS signals can’t reach underground, Waze Beacons provide uninterrupted location services by transmitting Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) signals to compatible devices within range.

Affordable and scalable: Beacons are designed to enable tunnel navigation where GPS is not possible, allowing drivers to focus on the road
