It would be nice to have it fixed, I’ve noticed also that certain accented characters that aren’t “é” don’t show up well.
It’s a font issue. If you redo previously existing accents with the current editing interface, the pronunciation is passable.

When we use waze instruction with a specific destination, all “é” are said “copy right” and all “/” are another weird thing. Ex: When it should be said “Véhicule arrêté sur le bas-côté” it is not a heping instruction… Please fix rapidly!
Waze app v.3.9.4 is out today. Garbled TTS has been a pain since a few months, and clearing the cache has just made it worse, but a quick test with the new version seemed like the TTS might be fixed. I’ll test it again tomorrow.
EDIT : Never mind, it’s as bad as before. Thanks @Mistral150 for reporting it in the feedback thread.
Mine seems to be working properly now.
