Waze Map Editing Help

Hello,

I am new to Waze map editing, however I’m running into some problems.

I’ve watched all the tutorials Waze provided and read through several documents so I understand how the process works and most importantly the different levels of editing. However, I’m stuck.

As a level one editor I understand there is’t a lot I can do, but what exactly can I do?

One problem I have encountered is to do with a Place Update Request in my area. Nowhere can I see anything saying as a level 1 I cannot edit it, however, it does say I can’t edit it because it’s out of my editing area. BUT I’ve physically been to this location in the past 24 hours and clicking through the areas tab, it is in fact inside an area that I have permission to edit.

There is currently technical issues that is preventing level 1 editors from making any edits in the Map Editor. I recommend reaching out to your local editing community while waiting for the issues to be resolved. https://www.waze.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=19
