Hi all, UR for this address, I cant see any reason why Waze wants to go past it and come back on its self, tried testing for different times but on a Sunday wants to route as the user describes, tested for Monday and Saturday and it directs correctly, is there anything I can do to improve routing?
I just tested navigation to that road both in app (from Manchester) and using the route checker script (from the roundabout at the top of Blaydon Bank).
It’s Sunday today and it takes me a long way round.
Having looked through all the info available in editor, I can’t see anything that could be causing it.
I also tried routing to a few of the streets within the same estate and all them seem to route correctly, except this segment.
Could there be some sort of issue with the speed data that is preventing routing on a Sunday?
Looking at Route Speeds it is showing some very slow segments in this residential area. Usually this is due to wazers leaving Waze running while they are parked up, this skews the speed data and makes Waze think the segments are naturally slow at these times. My only suggestion would be for the wazer to keep ignoring the suggested route as they are providing up-to-date data which should eventually correct the routing.
Thanks for the feedback, I let wazer know to drive quicker ![]()
