There was an UR adjacent to the permalinked segment below, which showed that Waze had routed a driver from Prior Deram Walk to the A45 southbound, via a segment noted as a walking trail - in this case an underpass!
I’ve temporarily removed a piece of the walking trail, but left most of it in place so that it can be seen for the moment.
I’ve always been a little uneasy about editors connecting such things to the road network, and have avoided doing so myself, but I didn’t expect that this would happen!
There’s a hard and fast rule about never connecting anything that’s non-drivable to the road network. Walking trails, stairways, pedestrian boardwalks, railroads, etc. If they’re connected, they can be routed on.
