As of Sunday Jul 24th 2011 @ 10:27pm (BST) I have officially been wazing for a whole year :ugeek: !!
One wonders where that year has gone and I have paused to consider the progress that Waze in the UK has made over that year.
When I first started using it I thought that my phone was defective as I couldn’t see a single road on the software until I zoomed out far enough to see the M55/M6, but that is literally all there was to see in my area.
Much fun was had writing and editing roads for about 10 months.
Then there was the basemap import!!! I’m still not fully over the shock of all the damage it did to my previous hard work, but in the end it is for the greater good (and all that good stuff)
Anyway, I was wondering what stories other users may have from their first years worth of Wazing and I thought I would post a quick pic of my anniversary dashboard, albeit a couple of days late due to the ongoing snags, but then those of us who have been wazing for more than a couple of weeks will be more than aware, snags are part of the whole waze experience.
Right, thats me off back to continue editing my area for a bit longer.
