Every morning when I drive to work, I take the same route. In the middle of town next to the firestation there is a pothole. I flag it as a hazard. The next day it is gone.
Do Hazards time out? I was wondering if someone in the city is driving around thumb downing things like that.
I keep putting it in, but it soon disappears.

Hazard reports only exist for a limited time. If they’re thumbed up, this time gets extended a little bit. How long depends on number of thumbs, etc. When you get the message ‘ people thanked you for your report’ in your inbox, the hazard report has timed out.
Please be sure to report this pothole to your local DOT for repair.
If your hazard is timing out, either other Wazers going through there don’t think it is a big enough deal to give it a thumbs up extension, or they don’t understand that a periodic thumbs up is required to keep it alive.
IMO not enough Wazers understand that they need to do their part to keep legit hazard reports alive.
