On my client (iPad and iPhone), going to the “Scoreboard” is fine. All categories, all correct.
Going to the dashboard here on the web site is just plain strange.
Sometimes, the main dashboard is fine, sometimes its reset to a very strange number, sometimes its set to 0. I log out, log in the same way I have always done, and I am logging in from only 2 locations which I have always used (in case it is location sensitive).
Even when the main dashboard page is correct, when I select the everyone link, sometimes it shows my correct state, but, with totally incorrect points. Sometimes it shows me with a totally different state and no points.
This has been going on now for several days.
Is there a specific way to log into Waze so that my dashboard is correct? I thought I remembered something about how to do this, but I can’t seem to find it.
However, it really should not do this. Logging in ought to get a person there regardless.
Are you sure you’re visiting www.waze.com and not world.waze.com ? If you are in the US or Canada (and I believe you are), you should be logging in to www.waze.com.
This points system is a nightmare. Every time there is a problem they just say you are not in the right server or the servers are behind and it’s “normal”.
I wish they would stop the excuses and admit to the problem. Then fix it or trash it.
I think it is the cause of frustration and probably causes waze to lose users.
Every review I have ever read/watched talks about the point system and how the gaming aspect makes it fun. Then people come to see and I am sure they are disappointed. I would be curious to see how many people become inactive after a weeks or 2 of use.
Generally the problem IS that people are logged in to the wrong system.
Personally, it doesn’t bother me if routes take a few days to upload… as long as they consistently take a few days to upload. Lately things haven’t been as consistent as they used to be, and that’s what irks me.
Mine shows a combination of states, as though selecting “State” doesn’t change anything.
I also seem to have been demoted from Crown to Shield, and lost a bunch of achievements.
… except for just now, when I popped back up to crown, with all achievements again.
Not my code, so I don’t know if the generated URL is incorrect, or if the handler code is borked on an otherwise-correct deviceid of 20, but maybe this’ll help the developer to troubleshoot
I totally agree with you. They were consistently behind but it worked on a consistent basis and after a few days you knew exactly what to expect. That’s the way computers work when they are working properly. Repetitive tasks a thousand times over perfectly. That is not what we have here at this moment. If waze would take just a second to post something on the status page saying, hey there a problems with “x” and we are working on it. People would give them a ton of slack, or at least I would anyway.
The dashboard on the web (North American) does not show any of my routes now. I mean it is totally blank. However if I go to livemap, then update map, then open my archive, the new routes are listed.
If I go to scoreboard, I am missing 3 candies which is correct but they are not listed correctly on the web. The list is correct on my client (iPhone4). My friend somehow got the wrong list of friends on her scoreboard on the web.
When I try to show a route from the archive, there is no green route line and alpha is working on that one.
I also miss the good livemap which has been broken for over half a year.
Is anyone getting these symptoms? I tried chrome and firefox and results are the same.
Rick I am getting the exact same as you. iPhone4 works fine but 2 computers at work and 2 computers at home with windows XP, Vista and 7 and in browers IE8, IE9, and Chrome and I get the exact same result.
I’m having the same problems as all of you… Waze will only get better if it gets more users, however more users will not join if this stuff contintues. 'Cmon waze!!!
I am experiencing the same problems as many of you. Scoreboard is incorrect in several aspects. Dashboard no routes are shown, points and rank incorrect, etc. I have tried using different browsers, and have signed in the same way as always over past months.
OK, the forum list on the community page is not stale anymore!!! The web dashboard has routes (although they are not mine) but they do get me to the archive directly which is still good. The scoreboard on the web now has the right labels for my 3 missing candies. So we are making some progress. Thanks to whoever did whatever!!! Waze on!
The dashboard and scoreboard looks borked again today. Yesterday I had lots of routes up to June 22. Today, it is only showing 5 routes up to June 20, and for mileage which doesn’t match anything in my Archived Routes in Cartouche. And the Scoreboard shows Massachusetts for my state. Wrong side of the US, unfortunately. I hear it’s nice over there.
