So this road has a UR saying the road is Hog Hole Lane not Hoghole Lane as it is currently. Certainly the sign at the side of the road says Hog Hole, however.
OSM and OS seem to have it as one word, Royal mail also seem to have it as one word.
Tunbridge wells Council refuse collection states two words, and a google search suggests both are in use.

So which is right, should we go with two words, as per street sign to avoid confusion, then add an alternative of one word to allow searches to find either? (assuming it works that way)
Personally I’d go with the street signage but I’m sure others will differ.
then the next question will be, how long before someone comes along with the name checker and changes is back again? lol
I’ve changed it, not sure if you want to lock it, to at least try to prevent it being named back, I’ve added the one word name into alternative name too.

Unless it’s obvious that the physical signage is wrong (and it does happen, though not it seems in this example) then I’d go with what’s visible to the driver onsite rather than what’s visible on the OS map - this too has been known to get it wrong…
