Wrong Directions (Unnecessary U-Turns)

Hello,

 I am new to Waze and I have been trying to edit my area to help do my part and to better learn the system. I enjoy a challenge and I am anxious to gain level and permissions to be able to help improve the system and maps of the area near me. I have however come by an error I do not know how to remedy. On 3 Occasions with 2 separate places, the Waze GPS has directed me to pass a turn and turn about in order to reach a location. All turns at the entry points (or atleast a road or parking lot road) are allowed but still it calls for a U-Turn, how can I fix this?

And to answer your specific question a little more directly, we really need to look at each specific case.

Possible causes include:

  • If there is a light at those locations, it’s possible that it is actually faster to avoid a slow left and make a uturn. We can help determine if that’s the case.

  • It’s possible that there is a turn restriction that is wrong or a missing parking lot road.
