There’s one particular petrol station which I pass periodically, and used to be able to update the price for without difficulty. However, twice in the past three days, I have updated the price, and Waze has claimed to accept the new price, but actually hasn’t.
This is the station: https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&zoom=7&lat=51.22117&lon=-0.44979landmarks=859778
Price update was working 5 days ago. When I tried tonight, it came up with the 5-day-old price… (unavailable attachment: photo1.PNG)
I typed in the new prices and pressed SEND, it came back showing the prices I had just input, but with the message “The price has been confirmed”….
This message normally appears when you don’t change the prices.
And sure enough, when I went in again the 5-day-old price was showing again…
I don’t think this is a cache problem, the fact that the confirmatory message says “price confirmed” indicates that Waze has not updated it’s database with the new price.
All this was working last week, so clearly Waze have yet again changed their system without adequate testing. Has anyone else encountered this bug?
