Add and Adjust ES -> That change isnt allowed at this time

Not sure if this is the right place for ES problems. This occurs on prod or beta. This ES shows as this for me:

I cant see the suggested name and I’m not sure how the FwdSpeedCamera items would be added by a new editor. So I click on Add and Adjust, but I get:That change isn't allowed at this time and won't be sent for review.
I am leaving the ES alone for now in case you need to look into this. Here is the beta PL:
https://beta.waze.com/en-US/editor?env=usa&lat=39.31064&lon=-84.34105&zoomLevel=19&editSuggestions=535

I don’t think they actually changed the name like they claimed they did.

I just tested the speed camera with my L1 account and was able to check it. The order of the edits are shown from bottom to top, so in this case they checked the camera box and then unchecked it. I am not seeing the message you are seeing. I didn’t attempt to save because I didn’t want it to work.

While looking into this, I think I found a couple bugs that I will report once I get videos created. One of which is related to your FwdSpeedCamera issue. My L1 test account can check/uncheck the speed camera button as long as I don’t change the speed limit. In your ES, the order of edits shows the FwdSpeedCamera was checked first, then unchecked, then the speed limit was changed.

Same problem seems to come back.
after each edition I have the same message :
“That Change isn’t allowed at this time and won’t be sent for review”
WME Prod and beta with Chrome navigator.

Sorry for that message.
It seems to come from a script because When i turn off TamperMonkey, problem is solved.

Hello all,

@daveacincy would you be able to check if you see the error with the TamperMonkey script disabled as pointed out by @glenan56 ?
@glenan56 thank you for your insightful input!

Kind regards,
Olesya

@Olesya-Staff
I spent a little bit yesterday trying to look at Dave’s report before I relized that it was from back in Mar 2024, so I am not sure if it is still an issue anymore.

Thank you for checking and taking the time to read through the report @jm6087!

It is probably not relevant anymore for the initially reported ES, but if this error is indeed caused by TemperMonkey, this would happen when trying to make other changes as well as was the case for @glenan56 This would also explain why you did not see the error, presumably you had it turned off. It is tricky to pint point the exact culprit as we do not know who had which scripts enabled back then.

Kind regards,
Olesya

I think that was pretty early in the ES timeline, so it may be resolved. My guess is that I had TM and scripts enabled back then, but I am not certain. As John said back then, it may have been related to the user checking then un-checking the speed camera box. I dont think that was a supported ES operation back then and might still not be supported.

It might be useful if @glenan56 could point to the actual ES or at least let us know what operations were part of the ES to verify or try to reproduce.

Hi @daveacincy,

Thank you for your confirmation on the resolution of this bug. I am looking forward to closing this thread as fixed.

Regards.
