I am now AM, for a big chunk of Cumbria.
One of the main issues here is lack of data. I have large areas with no roads and no GPS tracks either.

I’m one of the london AM’s (north/east-ish). I took a holiday from waze for a while, now I’m back while time permits, this may or may not be for a long time. Right now I’m spending quite a lot of time trying to fix Romford and I’ll be working out from there - most of my time is spent drawing in cartouche, then I’ll have to go back and name it all and then I have to go back again and fix the map errors.
I probably have a bazillion map errors to fix…
I finally took the plunge after much frustration and decide to become the AM for Moray. My kingdom stretches from Forres to Buckie ish taking in Elgin and Lossiemouth and around the lower extremes of Rothes. I might try for further when I have sorted that lot.
Ping if you are in the area.
I’m on Twitter with the same user name (lack of imagination) and I have set up the Moray Munchers group which you are welcome to join.
Happy wazing
Kieran

Only get to run up and down the M69 so get most of my points by editing. Had a big push editing a few estates and detangling the spaghetti last week and manage to finish top of the UK scoreboard so it is possible to get the gold waze mood icon as an editor, but only when the system isn’t working too well for collating all the miles these profesional drivers rack up! ![]()

I adjusted the road, now I can see two roads but can only click on one of them.
Hi Folks, For some crazy reason I have taken on the whole of Ceredigion and a small bit of Carmarthenshire a major job as the whole of the county was pretty much un mapped when I started . Ian
Hi,
I’ve been wazing for 9 months or so now. I’m an AM for Walsall and Central Birmingham.
My whole area seems to be currently haunted by “Willenhall” - not sure what’s happening but most of the unnamed roads I edit recently seem to say that. Annoying, but I now know that there are two Willenhalls in the West Midlands (one near Walsall and one near Coventry).
Unfortunately this is a limitation of the software at present and the reason you’ll see a lot of city names appended with their region name too! When it gets this far out of control your best best is to contact support@waze.com and give them a permalink of each separate city as well as the new city name, see the wiki for naming conventions!
They’ll be able to adjust the map as a whole and should blitz the city name from the area inbetween too!
Hi there,
Been wazing for about 7 months and, for my sins, am a AM for Worksop which stretches to the southeast of Sheffield covering the M1-A57-A1 corridor.
Been a lonely and difficult task but I think I am getting there.
The introduction of the Bing imagery has certainly made things easier and was pleasantly surprised how will positioned some of my roundabout attempts were!!

I became Area Manager for York a couple months ago, taking over the excellent work that robferrer had done. Waze HQ were very generous, and ended up giving me 50 km square to look after, down to the M62 and across to the A1. So, I’ve been updating random towns and villages that I discover as I explore the region.
Definitely addicted to map editing now. ![]()
Huzzah!
I’ve just taken up an AM role for the southern corridor of the M5 motorway (from J20 Clevedon down to J30 Exeter South) and surrounding towns. Any problems down there, you know who to blame now ![]()
Everyone say goodbye to the top of the UK scoreboard!! ![]()
It was already all mine ![]()
Hi everyone!
I just expanded my region to cover Weymouth & Portland (Dorset) as I’m from there. Hoping to have the Island and the whole town done in time for the Olympics next summer. It’s an area that could really use Waze as the traffic gets bad in the winter and is a nightmare in the summer.
Job 1 was putting in the new bypass (so Waze is now more up to date than Live and Google maps once the data goes live)…

Been away for a few weeks but just seen what a mess the new basemap update has done. Tens of thousands of updates down the tube so its an uninstall and bye-bye from me.
