Seemed to me that it would be a good idea to have active Area Managers announce themselves here along with the area they look after, so that newbs like me can find out who they are.
I know that I can find out who my AM is by looking at the Update Map. I have done this but I am not sure that the user listed is still active (lots of roads marked for deletion but never deleted etc).
I would consider being an AM myself, but I am not suer that I could commit to the time necessary. I would also like to get more confident with the map editor first. Is it possible to have joint AMs?
Afternoon, I’m Martyn, AM for the Torbay area in Devon. I’m new to waze too but learning fast and doing my best - torbay is gradually getting bigger and bigger in waze world with new roads being set up everyday. I can actually navigate to work now!
If you thinking of being an AM then I’d say go for it!
Afternoon all, as per my sig, AM for (most of) Scotland!
Currently working on the A90 from Perth to Aberdeen. If there are any routes in particular that are annoying you by their absence just let me know, PM or twitter!
I’m the Area Manager for the South East corner of Essex (but don’t hold that against me) - Any issues with Southend, Rayleigh, Basildon areas, let me know.
I’ve been on Waze for 9 months now and I’m currently area manager for both Lincoln and Newark
I do a lot of travelling with work so I have edit rights to a lot of the major roads around the country so give me a shout if you need any help with complex edits … I just love doing big interchanges!
As per sig, AM for Blackpool Fleetwood and Preston. Covering the M6 between J31 and J33 and all the M55 and bits and pieces of the great beyond around those M6 Junctions.
I’m also a moderator for the uk forum, so anything I can help you out with re waze generally feel free to pm me. Doesn’t have to be just about am issues, will do my best to answer any and all queries.
Hi, I’ve picked up most of the Isle of Wight as AM. Hope to tidy it up as there is a lot of data there waiting to be processed. Don’t expect me to be asking for advice about motorway junctions, though.
