I work at the Mato Grosso State Secretariat of Infrastructure and Logistics and would like to share SINFRA-MT’s geospatial database with you, the Central Infra:

To view the map
- Click the orange “Infraestrutura de Transporte” (Transport Infrastructure) button.
- There, you can enable or disable the desired layers for your analysis.
To download the data
- Click “Download” (top right corner).
- Select “Acessar” (Access) on the “Trechos Rodovia Estadual” (State Highway Segments) card.
- Click “Visualizar Detalhes Completos” (View Full Details) and wait for the page to load.
- In the menu on the left, scroll down until you find the “Visualizar Recursos de API” (View API Resources) option.
Important: there is currently no fixed update frequency for the database.
If you identify any discrepancies in the data, please let us know so we can correct them.

Hello, my name is Marcelo and I live in Barra do Garças. Around here, we say we live in “Greater Barra,” as we are three neighboring municipalities (Aragarças/GO, Barra do Garças/MT, and Pontal do Araguaia/MT). I’m joining the community to see if I can level up, as I’ve been trying to make some edits and I’m told that I need to improve my level.
Since I’m a municipal public servant in Barra do Garças, I have access to the city’s updated map through QGIS software. We use this map for inspections and updating property records. Given how easy it is to obtain information, I was trying to make some updates, but I couldn’t because of my level, as I mentioned before.
I’ve already made some updates—for example, on the street where I live, there are access issues reaching my house, and whenever I call a ride-share driver, they get lost, so I made those updates to see if it helps them find my address. Another thing is that new traffic lights, speed cameras, and speed bumps are being installed in my city, and I saw that the app now allows these updates to be highlighted, but again, I’m running into the level restriction. That’s why I want to help and improve Waze’s navigability in my city.

Hello everyone and thanks for the welcome. Whenever I have a bit of time, I’m checking out the Wazeopedia tutorials. Besides that, I’m being mentored by @pedaleiro_cwb and learning a lot about editing. For now, when I have a moment, I’m updating some things on my city’s map and adding others to earn points and level up to lv2. I chat a lot with @brunovolei09 in the map chat to get some of the changes I make approved.
