Editor etiquette

Hi all, I know we all do this as volunteers but I am having a real issue with a level 5 editor that is not playing by the ‘rules’. At least 3 times he has jumped on a UR and either made the changes and closed it solved, or in the case of the last one he made a change to the road that he spotted but never left any comments in the UR i was confirmation from the user for.
I have tried PM’ing and referred them to the UR etiquette, that is why i think this time they never bothered closing the UR they just made the changes as I guess that is not really covered. It great that they helping fix the map but I dont think its cool how they going about.

Do i just try and forget this happens or can someone more experience give some feedback

Some editors like to do their own thing, and don’t pay too much attention to the editor guidelines or community. If they’re not damaging the map, then there’s not a lot we can do, besides fixing their occasional mistakes.

Well, as this was about me let me have my say. There were three occasions only. One fix was left open with what I believed to be sufficient guidance on what I had done. I left it for the editor to close afterwards. After being contacted, I clarified further my tweaks. I admit that the first comment left may not have been clear enough but someone with 50k edits under their belt should be able to see the adjustments.
2 and 3 were over zealous closures on my part and I apologise for that, the work was done with the intention of leaving it open but I got carried away out of habit.

Having done nearly 600000 edits, I think to assume that I am on the rampage or some sort of UR grabber is a bit odd. I want Waze to be the best it can be and I have played a significant part in making it what it is today.

It should also be noted that I go nowhere near the URs with your name on them now out of respect.
