Is it necessary to add intersections to every roundabout?

Hello everyone!
I see that an editor has started adding “Intersection / Interchange” to every roundabout. I don’t know if it’s a good practice or recommendation, and that we should be doing it, or if on the contrary it’s something that is actually redundant…

Hello,

It’s not mandatory; it just has a small visual impact on the map, appearing with a gray fill.

It can be useful if you want to, for example, add the name of the roundabout or plaza, since the segments of a roundabout should not be named.
