Expired turn closure preventing segment modifications

Steps to reproduce this issue:
I had both segment and (straight) turn closed, as I was planning ahead for coming construction changes. Now I’m unable to move the node or disconnect the segments even though I have deleted the closures. It is acting like there is a turn closure still active.

It also looked like the segment closure was appearing in the turn closure window. Both turn and segment closures show as Ended early. However the turn still has (1) next to turn closures.

Maybe I need to wait 7 days for the expired closures to clear? That is a long time to wait to be able to make necessary modifications.

The segment to the east also has the same issue.

Well, the turn closure dropped, but it still says there is a closure when I try to edit the node or segments.

This is a new roundabout that I’m unable to draw…

We made a local decision to redraw the surrounding roads so we could create the roundabout for navigation.

These 2 segments are still “locked” and can’t be removed. They have been changed to tunneled runways to minimize interference. https://waze.com/en-US/editor?env=usa&lat=39.87019&lon=-85.91658&zoomLevel=19&segments=16448163,16450228

Just a quick update: the problematic closures have been marked as finished on the backend, so the affected segments and nodes should be editable now. Can you please verify?

Yes, I don’t see the closures on these segments and looks like they can be deleted. Is it okay for me to do that?

However, it seems the issue is still present when turn closures end or are deleted.

The segment south of this intersection also had a turn closure, which I deleted but didn’t disappear until after about a week.

Yes, you can delete thesegments that are no longer needed.

Does this mean that you cannot modify the segment?

Thanks. I did some further testing, and the issue is not present any more. The segments are modifiable after closure ends or is deleted.

I believe it would be beneficial to have a different icon or color for an expired turn closure vs an active one.

I may have missed an active closure on that last link…

We have an existing feature request to remove the icon in case a turn closure is no longer relevant.
It was previously mentioned here. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
