Community achievements
Giro d’Italia Closures
Kudos to the Italian, Swiss and Bulgarian communities for adding 33.5K closures to the map and associating them to 23 traffic events ahead of the Giro d’Italia, an annual multiple-stage bicycle race. Thanks to you, 575K drivers received push notifications and were able to avoid congested areas and stay safe during the event.
Improved gas prices
A round of applause goes to our communities who played a vital role in our more recent round gas price improvements: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria, USA, Mexico, India, Argentina, Vietnam, Serbia, Thailand & Singapore.Together, you validated 71,000 PURs, significantly improving the accuracy and coverage of gas price info.
Brenner Motorway Closures
Applause to the German, Austrian, and Italian communities for jumping into action after a local partner flagged an environmental protest on the Brenner Motorway! Coordinating closely, they closed 400 segments around this vital Alps route, helping thousands detour smoothly. Special thanks to German editor ChristophGP14 for leading this effort!
Stars of the Month
Meet Polish community members Falcon4Tech, Wcrhu, and MatthiasGor! They superbly prepared their community for the Traffic Lights MapRaid. Ahead of the event, they checked documentation, prepared clear instructions, and hosted live training sessions for L1-L3 editors. They even built a custom WME script to help monitor progress and streamline help requests. Thanks to their leadership, the community mapped an incredible 10.6K traffic lights!
