Houses with no numbers

Some of the most frustrating things I encounter when out and about are roads where the houses have names rather than numbers. It can be very difficult verging on impossible to locate a specific house. But if one’s navigation app knew where all the different houses were, it would be easy.

Is there any way to record house names on the Waze map? The house number editor doesn’t seem to allow inputs such as “Cherry Cottage” and I can’t see any other way of doing it. (Though I’m quite new, so apologies if I’ve overlooked something.)

I think all you can do is to add a place point, there was some discussion about it last year.

Still reminds me of the 80’s and the area my mum and dad live the milkman showing us his book of house names. [emoji2] I know the problem of finding a house when it is only has a name and postcode. [emoji6]

Thanks for the suggestion and the link to the discussion. I’ll do that for some of the unnumbered streets in my area.
