In short, I’ve been adding new shops and locations in my local area that I use to travel every day, new shops, house numbers, parks, car parks and such. But everything needs to be approved by Level 2 or Level 3 editor, which is fine. And I just started to get into editing, so my level is 1.
In my local area, there are pending changes and new additions from as far as February 2023 the haven’t been addressed by anyone. And I know everyone has their own time and stuff to do so I just want to know how this works exactly.
Post a map editor link to the area, someone will have a look I’m sure
a quirk of the current map editor is that you only automatically get a list of the updates in the area you’re looking at, and that list is ordered with the most recent at the top rather than the oldest.

Not sure why they sort it by newest instead of oldest. But I get why it’s localised, it would get overwhelming quick if everything just popped up, but having definable radius for that would be nice too.
Yes, I’ve just seen, Ianinessex is approving some of them, while I reading the posting guidelines for UK Editor Requests.
Also I’ve seen you approved some too, is there a reason why you changed from area to point on those shops?

In case you are just starting map editing, please also read the UK Wazeopedia first. There are many information. If you have any further queries, you can also post in the forum.
After you have had a few places approved this restriction will be lifted and you’ll be able to create new places, or edit existing lock level 1 places, without needing approval.
You can still edit places locked above your level, this will create a Place Update Request that will still need approving.
