Hi. I’m new to the editing thing and have spent a couple of hours editing private roads. They’re not live on wake yet and I’m not sure what the next stage is for them to go live? I’ve also added a couple of businesses that require approval from a level 2 editor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Andy (andyrose18)
Welcome Andy, any edits to road segments do not require approval, instead they are published in the LiveMap/App after the next map tile build (anywhere between 24 hours and 14 days), you can check the date of the last tile build at https://status.waze.com/, we are on the INTL server.
Places on the other hand do require approval, based on your editor profile you are editing in Middlesborough, a Permalink to what you want approving would be useful so we don’t have to search the entire country 
I’m sure a local editor will be along shortly, though now I’ve answered they might overlook this post :?
Some quick advice, we don’t generally enable the u-turn arrows as UK roads require a 3-point turn rather than a quick u-turn so we prefer Waze to route around a few roads instead. We don’t map every lane of a car park as we don’t want Waze to distract people in car parks, and we always name new roads. If they don’t have a name or you don’t know you can tick the no name box in the Street Name field.

You should have received a PM from me giving you some pointers regarding the segments you created. With places Waze looks up Google results so if you just going to add a place and not add the additional info under the more info tab then its really not adding value to the map. What is useful is if google have them in the incorrect place and the Waze ones can be linked by a level 2 editor or higher. I will have a look through these but a quick glance most wont be approved and i am going to have to remove some segments as we just dont need to map every lane like Chris pointed out
