This is a tricky one, I’m not sure I agree.

Hmm, I thought that may be the case. You are right, and the rules back you up.
I can’t see any no right turn sign either.
I’ll go back to the reporter to confirm.
A bit of further discussion here. On the dividing median strip travelling towards the city, there is a keep left sign, and also looking closely at Nerida Lane and parallel with it on the opposite side of Milton Road, there are clear advisory signs telling pedestrians to cross 130 metres down at the lights.
The ‘Keep Left’ sign is to remind American and Continental European visitors which side of concrete islands to drive on (I’m sure this is not the actual reason). I don’t believe it has any bearing on the painted island after the concrete island. If you’re bored, have a look on the TMR site and see if you can find anything, I’d be keen to learn something new if I’m wrong.
Pedestrian advisory signs have no bearing on traffic, if there was a restriction, advisory or not, on traffic turning right there, there’d be a sign.
Closing out issue as you are allowed to turn across painted island in QLD. Thank you everyone for your help.
