The first segment of Devon Ave west of Sheridan Road needs to be unlocked so a bus-only left turn can be restricted on another segment of the intersection. Thanks.

No, I still can’t edit the turn I want and the segment I requested that you unlock is still locked. If you tried to unlock the intersection, it didn’t work.

I think I set the turns correctly but I also unlocked the segment in case I got it wrong.
Left turns from EB Devon to NB Sheridan and WB Sheridan to SB Broadway have been restricted since they are permitted only for CTA buses.
Please review and update if needed. Clear the MP once everything looks good. Also let us know if anything needs to be relocked at a higher level.

You got it right, but that segment of road with the turn I wanted to change was acting strangely. It never showed you as having updated it; it was saying the last update was in 2011 by WoodyMutt even though I could see that you disabled the left turn onto Broadway. I made a change or two to the segment and saved them, and it was STILL showing a last modified of 2011.
I deleted and replaced the entire segment, set all the turns, and re-locked the segment you unlocked. The new segment shows created and updated by me as of today, which makes me breathe a little better.
One other thing with this new segment… the permalink actually select the segment. The old segment wasn’t displaying from the permalink.

Edits to turn restrictions do not update the last edited information for the segment. Even though you have to select a segment to get to the turn arrows for that segment, the turn information is stored as part of the junction node. Junction node timestamps and edited by information are not available in WME.
Deleting that segment just threw all of the historic traffic & speed data in the bin. This will not only reset traffic/speed data but will cause Waze to avoid routing on the segment until it gathers enough data. I had this very thing happen when someone split a road that was working perfectly. Waze wouldn’t put me on the road and kept trying to take me off it no matter how far I drove it.
Even if you draw the new segment exactly like the old one, it will receive a new segment ID (that’s why a Permalink w/ a deleted segment highlighted won’t show the new segment), turn into a pac-man road, and start everything from scratch. Please don’t delete segments without serious and careful consideration to the consequences.
Arlen, I added a node and it still didn’t change the updated information. Better to cast away a segment that’s corrupted (permalink to the old segment wasn’t working BEFORE I did anything else) than leave it there and continue to suffer problems.
I stand by what I did; there was something hinkey with that segment. I’ve never had to do it on a major street, but given where it is, there should be plenty of people traveling over it.
I know I have edited that road several times. I don’t know how turns keep getting set as allowed. I’m going to relock it again.
By all means do, but I think that you won’t see flakiness there now.
