Regarding bug fix #7. The map still blinks when the left panel is collapsed. See GIF below:

When the left panel is expanded, the map does not blink. See GIF below:

Issue tracker opens up every time I open a UR. :no_entry_sign:make it stop please.

I think there’s a hyperlink missing there.

100% this.

I was going to mention that but figured it was linked just above there (https://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&p=2342417#p2342417)

Regarding Map suggestions #1, the description: "Support max of 32 segments connected to a single node" is misleading. It should be the max number of possible paths which go through a single node inside a JB.

How do I stop the awful highlight animation that makes elements expand with issue tracker, I slows down WME and often gets stuck either large or partially transparent. Some elements are falsely reduced in size. You should always provide a way for users to turn off animation :!:

Are you just on about the UR/MP/PUR markers, or is there some other part of the UI which has also succumbed to the “must make the UI all cute and fluffy no matter how badly it impacts on efficiency” rule that I’ve yet to encounter?

If this is about enlarging the selected UR, I believe this is a very useful feature.

Only the URs/MPs/PUR markers as you hover over them in the issue tracker list or on the map.

It may be useful to some but not all users should be forced to work with badly implemented features that break their working routings. The option should be available to TURN OFF all animation.

There also appears to be a zoom effect animation when changing zoom levels.

While having an option may be a good suggestion, to say that the feature is badly implemented is not accurate. It is just not implemented how you would like it.

Sure it’s fine, except all the glitches with sizing and transparency caused by it.

Separately, why does the filters on the issue tracker also hide items on the map itself. Am I the only one that still needs map filters :?: I want the issue tracker to show me new / unanswered issues, which I can use the many options to filter. But i want the map to show me replied to or closed issues so I can quickly relate URs to previously fixed issues or ongoing problems. I shouldn’t have to have issue hidden on the map to be able to see new issues in the tracker, or show absolutely everything in the tracker only so I can see another editor fixed the issue an hour ago.

On opening the notification pop-up, a vertical and a horizontal scroll bars appear, although not needed. When you subsequently close the pop-up from the bell icon, they disappear nicely. However, if you just click outside it (on the map), the map blinks while the scrollbars disappear.2023-03-20_20-18-38_thebat.png

I also need map filters
Looks like we can set tracker to “show” all issues but existing filters in tracker can not be compared with all filters we have in WME UR-MP tracking.
In my opinion it will be nice to be able to “disable” tracker and keep using WME UR-MP tracking (or other scripts) to work on URs/PURs/MPs

Totally agree - this is a step backwards. Having to click ‘search this area’ every time I move around in the map - when clicking on a UR in WME UR-MP for example - in order to show any URs in that area makes for a very clunky workflow.

{Edit} - Ah, OK, so I can change filtering from Map Area to Specific Area and just not define one. But how do I stop the left-hand pane jumping to the tracker every time I click on a UR?

{Further edit} - Nope, I thought what I described above worked - but it doesn’t. Selecting Specific Area, entering United Kingdom as country and leaving other fields blank just doesn’t show any URs on the map at all when I jump to a different area. Have to select Map Area, and keep clicking Search This Area. Someone please tell me that I’m missing something obvious here, because that’s such an awkward way to be forced to work.

More generally speaking - does anyone else find that WME simply freezes up, requiring a page refresh, very regularly since the update?

You can turn off the issues layer if you don’t want to use and UR-MP works for you. I don’t use UR-MP, so not sure how it works with issue tracker.

Com relação a tela ficar piscando, ainda continua piscando quando eu seleciono um nó no seguimento :!:

That just hides all URs, MPs, PURs on the map, period. Not the same thing as disabling the tracker. Not helpful.

There is no way to do that. That would be something to add as a suggestion
