New Place Request - Locked Road (L1 Editor)

I am a new Level 1 editor and I’m trying to add a new verified business, but I’m getting a permissions error when I try to save. I believe the road segment may be locked.

Could a higher-level editor please add this place for me?

Thanks. You most likely haven’t driven in the area, so you can’t make changes. The place has been added, but with hours that match the web site.

  • Address:

    • Current: 13701 Riverside Dr
    • Correct: 13701 Riverside Dr #200 (The suite number is an important part of the address).

  • Category:

    • Current: Offices
    • Correct: Shopping / Services (As they are a general contractor providing services).

  • Description:

    • Could you please add the business description? It is: “Based in Sherman Oaks, CA, we are your trusted partner ADU building and transforming garages into functional and beautiful spaces. Serving the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles County.”

  • Google Place Link:

    • Could you please link it to its verified Google Business Profile? Google Search

  • Services:

    • Could you please uncheck “Air Conditioning,” “Customer Parking,” and “Wheelchair Accessible” and instead check Accepts credit cards and Delivery?

I really appreciate your help in getting these details corrected.

Waze does not handle sutie numbers.

Are these not the offices for the business? This is the category we normally use for this.

We do not add the literal business description here. We use it for information that is otherwise needed to help with navigation when the destination is not obvious.

This was already done.

I’ll add accepts credit cards, but the building literally has air conditioning, customer parking, and is ADA compliant, so I will not remove those services.

Thank you for taking the time to explain this. This is incredibly helpful and makes perfect sense. I understand now that Waze’s priority is navigation and that the data should reflect the physical location’s attributes.

Your clarifications on the category, suite numbers, and the purpose of the description field are exactly what I needed. I will be sure to follow these guidelines for all my future requests.
