The entrance on Palm Isles Drive (intersection with Hagen Ranch Road) is gated with access only via a transponder in the car. The gated intersection of Palm Isles Drive and Boynton Beach Blvd has an attendant that allows visitors access.
Not sure how to code that, but I guess it might make sense to show the Hagen Ranch intersection as one way (exit). Visitors will be sent to the Boynton Beach Blvd. intersection. Residents will know how to enter (and ignore the GPS instructions)

Thanks for your post.
Waze is primarily a commuter app and the decision was made long ago to map gated communities for the convenience of the residents since they use these routes daily. Since we have no way of differentiating between residents and guests, this routing applies to all.
Given the current standards and our current capabilities, this community is mapped correctly.

I guess, but that means 100% of people who don’t know the area (package delivery people, Uber Lyft and cab drivers picking up passengers, etc.) and rely on GPS might be (depending on where they’re coming from) sent to the wrong address and won’t be able to figure out how to get in without asking for assistance.
It also means 100% of people who live there (and presumably might not need directions) will be given valid directions.
My parents told me that every day of the year people are complaining that the delivery person got lost.
Might be worth reconsidering standards.
The only downside to using the main (guarded) entrance is drivers might be sent up to one mile out of their way.
The upside is countless drivers (the community is huge) wont be sent on a wild goose chase having to figure out how to gain entry.
