Parkmore, Sandton - Road Closures

Hi all

I need some assistance in making sure the road closure times are accurate in the Parkmore, Sandton area. I found the following

Which indicates that most gates are open

Mon – Fri: 06:00 – 09:30
Mon – Fri: 15:00 – 19:30
Sat: 08:00 – 13:00

A user reported that they were directed via a closed gate in the following area, on a Sunday evening:

I checked the particular road, 12th Street, which has general restrictions set from Monday through Sunday, which is incorrect. I checked a few other streets in the suburb and all have the same setup, which I can’t correct as I am only a Level 2 editor…

Ok the time based restrictions are new and official. I have a picture which I have uploaded to both of you on Slack. The black line across the road represents where the road has got a security boom. I have also inserted the time restrictions

The roads affected are 9th, Shandon Way, 12th and 13th. You have a note on 12th. I’m 100% sure of the restrictions between Olympia Avenue and Mattie Avenue.

The bad news is that I’m not sure of the restrictions on the other side of Olympia Avenue and below 9th. Peak hour traffic didnt allow much time.

I found the signage which indicated the weekday times as you have them (I was past there yesterday and all is the same regarding such signage), but have noticed that the times seem to change in reality. When I originally set the time restrictions they had not been published and has even gone as far as to call the security company. A few editors have changed the times as information has become available.

If you have official info then best stick with that for the road closure.

On 14th street on Monday at 15:06 a user found the gates open but Waze reported that they were closed.
