PUR Suggestion Preview: Missing External Provider link removal

@Olesya-Staff Check this out. I removed the P from the place name and removed the external Google Place. Just the P removal appears in the suggestion preview.

Thank you for reporting this bug, it is reproducible and I will raise an internal ticket to look into it.

Hi @Olesya-Staff, someone approved my suggestion, and only the name removal had been applied.
I sent a new suggestion for the removal of the Google place, and is still doesn’t show up in the suggestion recap.

Thank you for the update @massic80, the issue is reproducible for all venues - EP removal is not visible in the preview, the suggested change is not added even when you accept it. We are looking into this bug.

Thank you, @Olesya-Staff. In my case it’s not an EP, it’s a linked Google place

This is what I meant by EP (external provider aka Google place).

Forgive me, I thought it was entry-point

My bad, abbreviations can be confusing. I have updated my previous comment to make it clear.

Hi @massic80,

I have moved these posts form the original topic to keep it separate - “House number not displayed in Place Update Request” has already been fixed in beta; the other issue regarding the External Provider link removal is still being worked on.

Best regards,
Olesya

I’d say there is also something wrong with addition/removal of PN and ANs…

Thanks @massic80
The addition/removal of place names and alternative names?
I’ll check this on my end.

Never mind, forgive me.
I didn’t remember I already reported it here (sidenote: PN → Primary name).

Thank you for the clarification @massic80. What I’ve found for now is that removal suggestions for ANs do not work - it’s the same behavior as for EPs.

I’ll check other suggestion workflows.

Is this a…:
Standard bug
Steps to reproduce this issue:
I am trying to remove an AN from a bridge in Turin, but the suggestion turns out to be an AN addition, “yes applied to the map”.
Could you please check it out? Looks like there is something wrong with it.
