Bulgaria had to map most of its roads, not just freeways. FW and MH are 100% done, mH and Primary Streets are about 85% done from what I understood. I’ll try to add some more once I am at work in 30min.

Last update is that the Tile Build should be processed as expected.
The snapshot was taken this morning, and by tomorrow morning the tile should be built.
If everything will go as planned the push notification will be sent this evening, to user that did not add the Vignette.
Once the feature will be rolled-out user requesting a route trough Vignette segments, and who does not have a permit in the app, will get a pop up similar to the encouragement asking him to add the specific permit trough a deeplink.
By adding it he will be routed trough the Vignette, if not he will get a different route.
At this point he will be able to see the route with Vignette as an alternative route.
In case of any change we will make sure to update you.

I thought one of the reasons to delay the feature was so that this part could be developed and implemented in the App. If it wasn’t, then can we know when it’s expected to be?
I’m sure any Product Manager who’s final decision it depends on could understand why this needs to be prioritized at this late stage.

Vignette rollout in Latvia failed, all restricitons are removed from WME until further notice.

Routes not working to vignette zone. Waze just stops on last segment without vignette. No suggestions to add pass… nothing. Tried with and without the pass. Hezi said pass had wrong id in system… but after reapplying second time, nothing happened after 1 tile update. So I removed everything…
and i thought that this was one of the best prepared projects in waze. but it has failed in Latvia and when motorcycles had been added in Bulgaria it was failure there as well 
Starting today, vignettes in Bulgaria work as intended, but still remains the question of how much we benefit from this feature because now there is a vignette restriction for cars and motorcycles on almost all roads, which makes the map more difficult to maintain. Furthermore, users receive notification to add vignette when a route is found, but they don’t receive any notification if it isn’t found which happens almost every time.
It became known that Romania and Bulgaria have a vignette system that spans on all their roads, unlike other European countries that have vignette system only on their freeways and primary/secondary roads.

From an email sent in July, this was how it should work:
is this still the plan? And if yes, does this mean that after adding 1 permit/vignette the user will receive no further messages, or only for that specific vignette?
