I’m thrilled to introduce WME Enhanced Actions v2.0! This new version brings streamlined editing, improved shortcut options, and a few exciting new features to make your Waze editing experience even more efficient and enjoyable. This script is designed to save you time and simplify repetitive tasks, allowing you to focus on editing.
Features
1. Automated Apply with “Enter”
Press “Enter” to confirm actions automatically. This function helps eliminate unnecessary clicks, allowing you to quickly confirm edits without manually searching for and pressing the “Apply” button.
2. Customizable Save Shortcut
Assign a personalized Save Shortcut (a combination of keys, like Ctrl + S) to save changes instantly. This feature helps you save your edits efficiently without reaching for the save button every time.
New in v2.0: You can now easily toggle the shortcut recording mode on and off, allowing more flexibility in choosing and setting the combination.
3. Enhanced Key Combination Recording
Recording Mode On/Off Toggle: Easily control when to record key combinations by pressing the “On/Off” button, which makes assigning shortcuts straightforward and intuitive.
Improved User Interface: The interface now indicates when recording is active, making it clearer when you’re setting a new shortcut.
4. Language Detection and Localization
The script now automatically detects and supports multiple languages: English, Spanish, and Catalan.
It customizes the interface text based on the editor’s language preference, enhancing usability for non-English speakers.
5. Additional Features Panel
Feature List: New panel displays a list of available features to keep editors informed about what’s available. It highlights key shortcuts and automation options.
On-screen Indicators: Clear on-screen hints guide you through using new features, like how to set up the save shortcut and toggle recording.
6. Streamlined Sidebar Panel
All settings are accessible in a convenient sidebar panel, allowing easy adjustments and customization without leaving the editor.
New in v2.0: Updated design with improved styling, icons, and clearer labels for a more intuitive experience.
7. Automatic Confirmation Dialog
If there’s an alarming “Save Anyway” warning, the script automatically handles it, allowing you to save without additional prompts.
Click “Install this script” to add it directly to your browser.
Refresh your Waze editor to see the changes.

I’ve try it. beautiful script. may i request a feature? in indonesia there’s so many unnamed road, will you add a feature to skip apply when the name of the street is none.
Regarding your request, I can definitely add that feature, I also have a few other improvements planned for the script. Once the next version is ready, I’ll announce it here You’ll also see the update when you open the editor, as long as the script is enabled, so no need to worry about missing it.
In this section, once you have finished modifying the fields, you can simply press Enter to apply your changes directly. This way, you don’t need to use the mouse to click the “Apply” button.
As mentioned earlier, I’m planning to add more features, including the one suggested by AndyLaode, along with several other ideas that users have shared with me.
It probably helps to avoid the frustration that often arises from pressing the ‘enter’ key without realizing that unless you press ‘apply’ first, the changes don’t take effect… Am I the only one to whom this has happened not once, not twice, but three times…?
Updated! Check out the first post for the latest changes. I’ve also included a GIF demonstrating the new features and improvements. See the difference in action!
We hope you’re all doing well.I’m excited to announce the release of WME Enhanced Actions v1.1, bringing several new features and bug fixes to improve your Waze editing experience!

A key combination now opens the address panel correctly when the user is in the segment options.

really love on how to press enter without need to select the name of the street to none, because i love to minimize mouse click and if possible editing with combination of keyboard and mouse.
just to point out, FYI, there’s a built in keyboard shortcut to edit the address, it is “E” key
Yes, the default shortcut to open the address box is the ‘E’ key. However, the script focuses on providing extensive customization for shortcuts. We are also planning to add more types of shortcuts not currently available in the Waze editor. If you have any specific suggestions or ideas for additional shortcuts, please feel free to share them!
that’s what i did last time. i click appy without selecting none. this script allow me to just press enter without having to click apply at all. at the beginning, this script doesn’t have this feauture, we need to fill in a name of select none, then press enter. so actually clicking apply will be more motion effective.
because of this script after seleting road that i just recently created, i just press E, then enter, street name (none), then city name, then country will be automatically fill
did you see that my mouse doesn’t have to travel to apply button at all. this is really save me a lot of motion waste
For me now, this is enough. haven’t think anything that can improve this script. currently, this is the fastest clicking and keyboard combination that i have after creating new segment (create segment, press E, then enter within less than a second)

a feature request
will you please add enter to close this regression checker dialog box so my mouse doens’t have to travel to save button
Thank you for your suggestion! We appreciate your feedback and will include the ability to press ‘Enter’ to close the regression checker dialog box in the next update. This should make it more convenient and save you from needing to click the ‘Save’ button with your mouse. Stay tuned for the upcoming release!
I have add new function on the original Direction Tab Script. The function is to allow Pressing Enter equal to click save button on regression checker . I use this script for my own personal use. Please integrate to your main script if you wish to
The version of the script you’re currently using is deprecated. Please update it via the first post on Greasyfork. I’ve also implemented an auto-update feature to prevent this from happening again. Regarding your suggestion, I already have it noted for the next script update
Some thoughts on the features… Consider this scenario: In an underdeveloped country with little road infrastructure, you must draw 1000s of roads and junctions and frequently save your progress. However, each save triggers non-blocking errors that you must dismiss, wasting time and effort.
Proposal: Could there be an option to auto-dismiss (or skip non-blocking errors check) during saves?
This would significantly boost productivity in such situations. In developed countries, potential risks could be mitigated through editor level restrictions, country whitelisting, or similar mechanisms.
There are some other hypothetical foundation builder features…
Autocreate junction
Auto-allow all turns on new junctions.
I really appreciate the suggestions. I’ll definitely implement the feature to auto-dismiss non-blocking errors during saves, it makes a lot of sense, especially for scenarios like the one you described. I’ll upload the update as soon as I can!
Also, love the ideas around auto-creating junctions and auto-allowing turns. I’ll look into those as potential enhancements too.
