Offering feedback on v1.20. When I used it, it correctly reported the the “un-nudged” HNs. However, when I moved one HN and then saved, all of the HNs turned white. I closed and reopened and the “un-nudged” HNs were again orange, except for the one I did move which was white.
I noticed that last night but wanted to get a working version out as quickly as possible (and while I had time). I will be looking for a fix for that.

Thanks for the quick update.

Something is still not quite right. The HNs are highlighted and stay that way until you manually add a missing HN. As soon as you do that, the orange highlight for the untouched (or touched but unsaved) HNs disappears. The highlight comes back if you exit the HN edit screen and then return. Moving the HNs that are already there doesn’t seem to affect the highlight for me.
I just posted a new version which should re-apply highlighting after any house number edits.
Edit: To clarify, the highlighting will re-apply after saving the edits. The numbers still turn white after adding a new house number.
This is addressed in the post above. He knows about it but will need a chance to look in to this small issue. Be very glad it works at all, for now, with the substantial change Waze made in the code.
Edit: Forgot to mention that a tiny pan of the map brings the colors back, usually.
Version 1.30.0 of WME HN Tool has been posted.
It fixes some highlighting issues and introduces the ability to nudge house numbers.
Nudging is restricted to rank 3+ editors and is performed by pressing Ctrl+Shift+H with the house number editing window open. As was previously discussed in this thread, this feature has little potential for abuse as 1 point is earned per segment edited, not per house number edited. Please edit with care and do not abuse this feature. Also, don’t forget to trigger a tile update by making an edit in the area.
Great added feature. I tried it out, WME gets a little buggy after a couple of runs but I was also trying it in a heavily dense city environment. This will be very valuable for cities with HN issues thank you

Thank you for the update.
Not sure what happened, but I lost “un-nudged” coloring and the Ctrl-Shift-H doesn’t appear to work. Any suggestions?
I found this happens occasionally and you have to reload the page. I usually have to do that after running it 3 times

Thanks, John.
I tried that. I also updated Chrome to the most recent version.
nope not working at all for me now either
Looks like a new version was pushed at midnight on 1/26/16. It does not load automatically or if you check for script updates in Chrome. After forcing an install it solved my problems.
Thanks!

Just installed v1.30.1 and tested. Worked perfectly!!! ![]()
If you are open, I would like to suggest another feature that may be useful. I’ve found that when I add new HNs, that it is overly laborious when I need to click the “+”, especially on long segments. It would be a great help if I could just hit the “+” on the keyboard and have it add at my cursor’s current location, which is usually the next HN location.
Thanks for making a great, and USEFUL, script!!!
Ok, now that I’ve spent a little time working with the script, there is a minor glitch. The nudger is great, but I found that if I’m working with a long segment, or across multiple segments, it immediately corrupts the HN window image (removes the satellite image and won’t allow a refresh, and won’t allow proper movement in the windows), and in a couple of instances, it splits the screen and the X/Y coordinate on the screen shifts. Only resolution is to exit the HN screen and then F5 (refresh) to reset the image and X/Y coordinates.
Hope this helps.
WME has a built-in shortcut for that. Just press “h” with the house number editing window open.
Thanks for the feedback. I will try to replicate this issue and get it fixed.

I finally captured an image of the screen split when using the nudger. Hope this helps.

BTW, thank you for the “h” tip. I had no idea about the shortcut key. I had looked several times, but never found anything.
Confirmed. Same thing happening here.
Continued editing, and my mouse was selecting and drawing a segment above and to the left of the displayed position… offset by the same amount that the bottom browser bar offset.
Edit placed and saved properly, was positioned properly when I reloaded the browser page.
A new version has been posted. It should fix the display issues, although I think nudging is a little slower. It’s still faster and easier than doing it by hand though!
