Yes! Orange bubbles again, thanks for the tip!
Thanks sounds like an easy enough fix is the script writer going to update it or should we all just alter our scripts?
Thanks so much for this fix! Works for me now ![]()
It would be best that the script author updates the script as everyone who has made local changes will not be receiving updates for this script any more until they manually check for updates and agree to overwrite their local modifications…
Absolutely, but SAR85 has not logged on to the forum since the end of March.
IIRC, “Closest Segment” had a similar issue.
I put in the modification that was suggested a few postings ago in this thread, but I still am not seeing the color offset on the ones that haven’t been touched by an editor. Maybe the latest WME update broke the script again?
I made the change also and it’s still working for me as of today. Maybe double check that you made the changes correctly and saved it afterwards.
Works for me too. Thank you very much!
Weird. I double-checked, and I did make that change in both places. Not sure why it’s not working for me… Will check again later.
Not working for me either.
Today, when I had to deal with some house numbers, it seemed to be working again. I guess clearing the cache and completely restarting the browser (from yesterday to today) got it going after putting in those changes.
Hey, whatever works. ![]()
I just noticed that today I too don’t get the orange highlighting. I tried clearing my cache and restarting browser, but still no good. I’m running Chrome Version 51.0.2704.103 m. Any other ideas, or does the script not work again with the latest version of WME?
You tried the two code changes that Leorenaud suggested a few pages back? That worked for me.
Ahhh, that did it! Thanks ![]()
Bumping this solution to the end of the discussion.
Is no one maintaining this script any longer, so that the change can be made permanent and not be something that someone has to come here to find?
The script author has been inactive lately.
Last forum and editing activity about 2 weeks ago.
Last activity before that was several months.
Since this change is very minor and necessary for the script to work, would it be a problem if another script writer just updated it?

You can update it yourself, the problem is when you modify the script, it will not automatically update if/when SAR85 updates the original.
Another author can not simply “take over” the script and begin publishing updates to GM without getting permission from the original author.
There is nothing to stop someone from writing an original, functionally equivalent script, but it must not use portions of the original code, which may not be possible,
