Unique Subject for UR Emails

It would be helpful if the email notification for UR comment updates and closures had a unique identifier in the subject line. Currently, all emails come in with subject “A comment on a map issue you are following.” I work in the NYC area a lot and can get 20 or 30 of these emails within a couple hours. It’s almost impossible to figure out which I have already addressed and which I haven’t because gMail lumps all of these into a single “thread” Adding some unique identifier to the subject line would do two things:

  1. separate comments for different issues into different threads, allowing you to archive them when they have been addressed
  2. group multiple notifications for the same issue into a single thread for easy locating after the issue has been closed

Agreed. It would also have benefit for active reporters who may be following multiple issues.

Not to shamelessly bump an old thread, but now that I am working the entire state of CT plus frequent work in NYC - it is becoming difficult to sort through when new emails come in. The UR response will come in and will activate an entire string of old UR emails that I have archived already, because they have the same subject. Any chance this can get logged as a feature request in the Waze Bug system?
