Hey guys,
I’ve noticed an influx in update requests recently without attached information (there’s about 60 in the queue). I can’t process any of these until I can figure out what is wrong. If possible can people either post the map updates they’ve done below (with links to cartouche and the problem) or start adding information to the update request.

I posted a few on the Waikato Expressway (Hamilton to Auckland) and have just realied that the north bound sections of the expressway have not yet been completed.
It seems that I am the only one processing requests over the last couple months?
C’mon guys there’s so much more to do.

I did a whole heap around ChCh recently.
I’m mostly doing the north island. About 150 updates over the last 3 months.
There are also lots of new stuff on the map that hasn’t been dealt with.

I’ve been handling most of the update requests for the North Is recently.
However I’m moving house, so after planning for it, doing it and recovering from it, I’m not going to have much spare time until Sept.
I hope that our long serving AM’s will be able to help our up and coming AM’s and keep things flowing.

The biggest issue is that people are recording roads using their phones but these are not being updated and entered into waze.
The easyest way to find this is to enable the “no name roads” layer and switch off aerial photos (that slows down redrawing)
Then look around for orange lines.
You don’t have to be an Area Manager for the area you live in.

Not all areas have aerial photos, most do though.
Some areas are “known bad” and need a local to fix them.
SH20 manukau, wiri station Rd, Lambie Drive area Etc
Lower Hutt new motorway on ramp.
Please, any road you make, set it to “locked”

There should be a roundabout at the junction of Elstree Ave and West Tamaki Road. I drove there today and it looks pretty new. Cartouche won’t let me add it.

Was in Hamilton at the weekend to visit a newly built house. Lots of roads missing around the River Rd area north of Discovery Drive ad lots of roads showing up as unnamed/unknown. I’ve had a go at naming quite a lot of them, but as you will see, there is still lots to do.
I’m unable to update connectivity for some reason, but have named a few of them, turned them into two-way, edited geometry to remove quite a lot of spurious bits and have aligned the ends of the roads so that they do intersect with roads that they are joined to. There are a few double-lane roads separated by a grass median which might benefit from being set up in Waze, but given that they don’t have any turnings from them may not be worth the effort. I’ll leave it to more experienced editors to decide.

Have added the roundabout that wbritton asked for.
I fixed this once but somehow it got rolled back and locked.

It’s a one-way not 2 ways and causing the route from symonds street to parliament street to be incorrect.
Earlier in this thread Hutt Valley was mentioned as being in need of updates. Post is some months ago, so is this still needed?
