Does anyone know how to send the navigation over the speakers of a nissan maxima? Im using an android phone.

I assume you don’t have an audio jack or Bluetooth built in into your car. You can buy an aftermarket Bluetooth device and connect it to your stereo. I installed a Dice (now Audiovox) in my car. Works great.

I do have bluetooth and my phone is hooked up and that works. It’s just waze wont go through the
speakers.

Have you checked Prefer Bluetooth in Sound Settings?

I have iPhone and I can not get my Waze to work through headphone jack into car speakers, what can i do?? All other audio from iPhone works with speaker jack. Don

Don, I have an iPhone too (4s) and I didn’t have to do anything special for Waze to work. Have you tried to reinstall Waze? I would do a hard reset after uninstall, and then reinstall.

when I go to Sound settings the box route to speakers is already checked.

I’m not sure about Android, but for iPhone there is a Prefer Bluetooth option below the Route to Speakers. The route to speakers should not be checked if you want the sound via Bluetooth.

The iOS client will not let you have speakers and Bluetooth selected at the same time. The “speakers” options means your phone speakers.

on my Android phone you need to have route sound to speakers unticked for it to work on my car radio.

Exactly! Like Alan said above, speakers means phone speakers

Did you change any settings or you reinstalled?
