Four years ago, road shields were implemented, and I remember we used to contact a person via email and attach a large Excel file containing all the road shields for all countries. Unfortunately, for Kuwait, the road shield icon that reached the end product (Waze app and WME) is broken and does not represent the actual road shield we use. Despite my numerous attempts to contact people, I keep getting the same response: road shields will be fixed in batches and could take a while.
Fast forward four years, and the road shield in Kuwait is still broken and not correct. Could I please have this escalated to the team responsible for road shields, or be provided with an email or another contact? It’s been a while, and I really think that all road shield issues should be resolved by now. There shouldn’t be any pending issues.

Indeed, the RS request for Kuwait is very old and doesn’t represent the current RS that we have now.
Let me explain to you in detail what we have now.
The current roadshields are a white round-edged square that includes a very thin circle (green for freeways and blue for below) and the word “طريق” is written along with road number in green or blue too (which can be X, XX, XXX, or XXXX).
In addition to the roadshields, We would like to include exit signs too.
Our exit signs are very basic, no specific numbering or naming is required.
They are basically a yellow sign that say “خروج فقط” and in the next line it says “EXIT ONLY”
The sign does have a black outline as can be seen from the images. I don’t think arrows are needed, but would be fine if added, however, there are instances where there are exit signs that point to the left direction too.

Regarding what’s broken. The current RS that we have is actually outdated and should be removed.
Kuwait updated the roadshields design around 2-3 years ago.
As can be seen from the image. The current roadshields are wrong and in fact do not have connected letters as Arabic should. The one showing right now literally says “R o aaa d” and the first letter is not even showing.
It should say “طريق” which translates to Road.
This is the current RS we have in WME, both of them are outdated and have the breakage in word that I described above.
